The best food and the best service can only be delivered from a top-notch warehouse. A HACCP facility, Wood Fruitticher’s 365,000 square-foot distribution center is located on approximately 30 acres and includes:
- 153,500 square feet of freezer storage
- 175,000 square feet of dry storage
- 36,500 square feet of cooler storage
It also features an ammonia refrigeration system with computerized temperature control and a standby generator.
Our Warehouse Management System (WMS) features Bar Code Scanning equipment for receiving and shipping accuracy, rotation, selection, and tracking purposes. We also utilize the latest in routing software and web-based appointment software.
The facility has 60 dock doors (30 dry and 30 refrigerated), a four-bay truck shop, and truck wash bay. All trailers are three-compartment trailers (dry, cooler, and freezer), and tractors are equipped with on-board computers and point of delivery (POD) scanners. A dedicated railway spur allows for additional inbound freight options.
